Mother's Day and Baseball

What a wonderful first Mother's day (yes I know I am about a month late)
The three of us went to the Padre's vs Astro's game in Houston. It was so fun having my little man there. Thankfully the Padre's won or I would have been a cranky Momma...

Sunday morning Derrin made egg and dairy free pancakes with bacon. Oh my goodness they were fantastic. I ate to much for sure, but it was well worth it.

We finished off the day with Derrin making his famous ribs. These are the best ribs I have ever eaten. Kinda of scarey how almost my whole weekend was centered around food.

I can't wait to take Jacob to more games. Maybe this will be our thing since his dad could careless about baseball. :0)

The Wonders of a dog door

So Sautrday morning was spent watching Jacob play in the dog door. He is coming very close to going all the way through.

He spends most of his mornings watching the dogs go in and out of the door and I think he thinks it's a game.

One of these mornings he's going to end up outside on the patio...

Welcom to Jacob's Journey

There is so much to share about this little guy, I just don't know where to start. He is truely a happy baby. He sleeps great, eats great, and loves to be held. We are working on him being more independent. The walker has really helped with that. He can chase Derrin and me and the dogs around the house. He thinks the dogs are amazing. They love him him purely for the food he drops. Starting out his 8th month Jacob seems more interested in standing/trying to walk than he does crawling, even though he get's into the "crawl" position.
